The movie did have good effects, however, the book had several flaws on displaying vampires. Vampires should <strong>not</strong> be portrayed as glittering, human's blood-<span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">vegetarians</span>. What is the most annoying factor of Meyer's vampire is that they actually have <strong>no</strong> fangs. What kind of vampires have no fangs?! Vampires should resemble the originals, blood thirsty demons, not a diamond sparkly creature whos only resembelence to the original vampires is their white skin, immortality, and semi-thirst for blood.<br /><br /><br /><div align="center">Edward Cullen (Left) Real Vampire (Right)<br /><br /><a href="http://www.freewebs.com/edwardandisabellacullen/6jw19g6.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 143px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 212px" alt="" src="http://www.freewebs.com/edwardandisabellacullen/6jw19g6.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /></div><a href="http://theunexplainedmysteries.com/ghosts/vampire-eyes-sm.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 183px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 185px" alt="" src="http://theunexplainedmysteries.com/ghosts/vampire-eyes-sm.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />In short; Vampires with no fangs = Fail.<br />Kthxbye.<br />/Ends rantNikkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08871203067167658695noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-340965439451399144.post-22198709177477761552008-10-28T11:56:00.000-07:002008-10-28T12:15:02.611-07:00Microsoft Announces New Operating Systems<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfdehVHIvPTZbbeyDJwOr9OOM0FoFefpabUcJuSDlNEiVTp8vLXHImAO0XC1MIQ1Kf4vwCsAQLU1dA11zy-VP3GIqY4FqgKfWuL5MpLMkEj8fnBVcHjGCMEfFzjJ5-gyMAWEwWoKdb/s1600-h/vista-logo.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262285043673314994" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 319px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfdehVHIvPTZbbeyDJwOr9OOM0FoFefpabUcJuSDlNEiVTp8vLXHImAO0XC1MIQ1Kf4vwCsAQLU1dA11zy-VP3GIqY4FqgKfWuL5MpLMkEj8fnBVcHjGCMEfFzjJ5-gyMAWEwWoKdb/s320/vista-logo.jpg" border="0" /></a>Yesterday [October 27,2008] <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> unveiled details of two new operating systems. Currently the most commonly used <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> operating systems are Windows <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">XP</span> and Windows Vista. Although frequently <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">criticized</span>, often by those who never use it, Vista is actually a very stable, rich environment in which to work, <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">particularly</span> when used with up to date machines.<br /><br />Nevertheless, <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> has decided to press ahead with successors for Vista. In late 2009 Windows 7 will be released. It will be much like Vista. Around the same time <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> will release Windows <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Asure</span>, an operating system that lives on <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> servers and not on your computer. This is called Cloud Computing, the "Cloud" being the Internet. Basically this means that you won't need an operating system or programs: they will all live in the "Cloud."<br /><br />Whether this works out or not remains to be seen. However, many companies are already trying this, both with <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/">Microsoft</a> and with <a href="http://www.google.com/">Google</a> products.<br /><br />"Cloud Computing" is one of the most used technology buzz words at present.Nikkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08871203067167658695noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-340965439451399144.post-70134132608374446862008-10-21T11:45:00.000-07:002008-10-21T12:02:11.964-07:00ICT 12 Student Blogs (2008-09)<div align="center"><a href="http://ict12ava.blogspot.com/">Ava Balingit</a><br /><a href="http://ict12ryanbattistel.blogspot.com/">Ryan Battistel</a><br /><a href="http://ict12sofiabusse.blogspot.com/">Sofia Busse</a><br /><a href="http://ict12nicole.blogspot.com/">Nicole Ceralde</a><br /><a href="http://ict12nathanchiu.blogspot.com/">Nathan Chiu</a><br /><a href="http://ict12jonathan.blogspot.com/">Jonathan De Maeseneer</a><br /><a href="http://ict12ddigiacinto.blogspot.com/">Danila Di Giacinto</a><br /><a href="http://ict12le.blogspot.com/">Lia Estrellado</a><br /><a href="http://ict12kfrancisco.blogspot.com/">Kimberly Francisco</a><br /><a href="http://ict12dgeekiyanage.blogspot.com/">Dilantha Geekiyanage</a><br /><a href="http://ict12nikkoh.blogspot.com/">Nikko Henderson</a><br /><a href="http://ict12nikkakomisarski.blogspot.com/"><span style="color:#3333ff;">Nikka Komisarski</span></a><br /><a href="http://ict12steffanimastromonaco.blogspot.com/">Steffani Mastromonaco</a><br /><a href="http://ict12cnery.blogspot.com/">Caitlin Nery</a><br /><a href="http://ict12conner.blogspot.com/">Conner Olenick</a><br /><a href="http://ict12andreastrazzullo.blogspot.com/">Andrea Strazzullo</a><br /><a href="http://ict12adam.blogspot.com/">Adam Troczynski</a><br /><a href="http://ict12ntagle.blogspot.com/">Nikko Tagle</a><br /><a href="http://ict12avillella.blogspot.com/">Alannah Villella</a><br /><a href="http://ict12jwong.blogspot.com/">Jason Wong</a></div><div align="left">These are the blog urls for my Ict 12 class colleagues. </div><div align="left">The class is using Blogger throughout the year to record information about various programs and techniques.</div><div align="left">This list will be updated to include several blog urls not presently available.</div>Nikkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08871203067167658695noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-340965439451399144.post-63498968376919070422008-10-17T11:43:00.000-07:002008-10-17T11:44:59.785-07:00iGoogleToday I signed up for the iGoogle service and made a couple of minor custom changes.
